Summer Updates

This summer has been busy but full of fun! I have been working on my next novel for a year and although I'm not sure when it will be finished, I know that I have put a lot of hard work into it. The book will be a young adult fantasy packed with adventure and a complicated love triangle. I hope you will check it out when it's published! Other than writing to my heart's content, I had the opportunity to go on a couple vacations this summer and make lifelong memories with loved ones.

June

I celebrated my sweet 16 with my friends and family, and I was blessed to be able to travel to Paris, France with my mom. We had so much fun exploring the city and learning more about the culture. The architecture was simply breathtaking, and the meals and desserts were well worth the long plane ride, when I spent most of my time reading, watching movies...and sleeping.

July

My family celebrated Independence Day by watching fireworks and a week later, we traveled to my favorite place: Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. I love going to the beach and walking in Harbor Town because I've been going there every-other year since I was three months old! One of my favorite activities during the trip was sitting on the back deck and reading with the water and boats in the distance. It was very relaxing! With my junior year of high school approaching, I am touring colleges both in and out-of-state. I have visited some beautiful campuses so far, and I'm looking forward to exploring even more.

Although I have been keeping myself busy this summer, it has been a great time to wind-down and count my blessings.
