One of my favorite parts of summer is traveling with friends and family. During this time, I like to disconnect from everyday life and appreciate the little things more. I was blessed this year to travel to both Costa Rica and Florida, and while on these trips, I was able to read and finish many books. Whether it was a summer romance or a mystery thriller, these books attributed to my relaxation and enjoyment of these vacations.

Writing Around the World

As I write my next book, I am constantly facing the dreaded writer's block. Traveling is a fun way for me to come up with new ideas and describe my settings in more detail. The beautiful landscape of Monteverde, Costa Rica inspired me the most for my novel and sparked a sense of creativity I wouldn't have had elsewhere.
